Man I have to say, this has been a lifesaver in WoW. From the start WoW has one of the worst UI's of any MMO I have played, but this sure changes things.

I assume most of you know about it since you have been playing a lot longer than I, but incase you don't Cosmos UI (http://www.cosmosui.com) .

Incase you didn't see, I finally caved and bought WoW thursday night, I am level 12 right now, hopefully gonna hit 18 today. I am on bonechewer incase anybody wants to log on and see the almightyness of donjo the troll shaman.

Doesnt Blizzard strongly discourage using this? I'm not certain. I wouldnt want to get in trouble for modifying their software.

No, they don't have a problem with Mods in General. The whole community uses them, and are talked about daily in WoW chat.

What they don't want, are Mods that give an unfair advantage... IE.. hacks that boost stats, give money, increase speed, increase levels etc.

These mods that we are talking about here, are mostly modifying the HUD display, and or giving info. on a "mouse-over".


If blizz had a problem with Cosmos, believe me, they would have squashed it by now.

Excellent.. I think I will definately give this a trye then. Sounds like it may fix some the UI limitations.. Which reminds me. Speaking of UI limitations. Has anyone seen this? Its funny to me how Blizzard and SOny keep taking each others ideas and using them. The UI in WoW IMO the worse aspect of the game right now.. And one thing I really loved about EQ 2.

Hmm I seem to be getting crashing problem on my desktop (the PC in the sig) as opposed to my laptop. Whenever I cast a spell and cosmos is running my game freezes up. Has anybody else experienced this? I am using CTMod right now but I really liked Cosmos more and wish I could go back to it.
