Anyone getting this game?, I just reserved a copy of it and from what I've seen of it it looks like it's going to kick a**.

If it lives up to the Video clips that they are showing, then yes, I'll get it.... but I'm going to check out the Demo first.

It probably won't run too well on my rig. I'll stick with DC. :D:

I too will be waiting for a demo, but I sure hope it is good.
I really hope that they improve the infantry combat. In BF1942, the common soldier was obsolete with tanks and planes. :p

I got the chance to play battlefield 2 for a couple hours about a month ago, through a research company doing some sort of study with EA games. There was no NDA so i'm guessing i'm free to post about it.
I'll definitely be buying it. If you like first person shooters, more specifically the rest of the battlefield franchise, you'll love this one. The game that I got to play was still a little rough (missing textures on a few trees, a few features not implemented yet) but the game itself was awsome.

Mind you, there's no guarantee that there will be a demo. EA never released a demo for BF Vietnam either. :(:

True, but it would be wise if they do.
These days, it pays to try it out first. I don't want to shell out $50 on a whim. Even others' impressions are questionable. I have purchased a few games without demos and from good words, and felt a bit different.
Even so, there really aren't any guaruntees these days.
I am holding on for a demo, but even if they don't, I will take the game into consideration.
