Just got Riddick EFBB!

Hey, guys!

I just got back from the local EB and got myself Riddick. I needed a good game to play, preferabbly a good SP game and this looked like the ticket. I also wanted something to show off my 6600 and it is holding its own. It was really slow for a minute, but I disabled shadows, V-synch, and moved the shader version down to 2.0 instead of 2.0+ (couldn't really tell you the difference!) and now it is smooth as could be.

It's late, so I just played to the first checkpoint snapping a few necks and picking up a shotgun on the way, but I am diving in tomorrow. :thumbup:

I have to say this was one kick @$$ game... I just finally got around to finishing the game since I've been stuck to vampire bloodlines. I really didn't like riddick movie but this game was Fantastic. It's very rare a game can keep me playing from the moment I start it and play streight through. I played it on a 6800 GT 256mb with everything turned up and the game ran smooth and not a single show stopper or bug did I come across.

Hehe! I am glad to have new parts! It is just the bug from having crappy parts for so long!

The graphics weren't a big factor though. I just want a good game to play now that my abusive relationship with WoW is going down the drain! Hehe!

Wow! This game is vulgar! Very adult-oriented, I really didn't expect this much.

Anywho, it is a good game so far in all aspects. I am not far in, but I am really enjoying it. The atmosphere rivals that of HL2 and Doom 3 I would say easy!

I agree... shocked me as well on the quality of the game.

BTW, you haven’t seen vulgar yet... lol. When your in one of the court yard's take a nice look at people's tattoo’s. Specifically... a guy named Cusa.
