Help in Hell

I'm fighting the guardian and want to know if there is a spot where I am relatively safe from him while I kill the friggin flying things? I thought I found one against a wall, but no dice! I'm an old man and my reflexes aren't what they used to be! LoL Running around and trying to shoot them down while I avoid the guardian sucks! Any help is greatly appreciated! HOOAH!

Well, hooah, of the last ten games I've played, at least five of them had a "Hell" level. If you would give us a clue as to which game you are playing, maybe we could help. How old are you, by the way? I'm doing my sixties, so if you've got me beat, I may have to stand down as ranking "old fart" in this forum. Heh, heh. Edward.

LoL! No, Oldster, I don't have you beat, only 50! Playing Doom 3. I'll have to check the name of the level and get a screen shot. Hey, remember when "Pong" came out?! LOL

You might want to try www.gamefaqs.com. They have always had some great FAQ's and walkthroughs. I haven't played through the game myself so I cannot really comment on it personally.

In the nightmare mode, the stage is a battle field without a specific time, arrows in the air, at the horizon a big nuclear blast, a cruser (battle ship) falling down in the sea, voices and bullet noise in the air. I kill many hell soldiers and BLACKOUT!... the boss A red demon in flames, with a sword. I shot him many times and nothing!, and BLACKOUT! one more time! and return to the battle field to kill hell soldiers. This secuence is the same, I can't kill, I don't know how kill to The RED DEMON!!!there aren't pentagrams.

Heya kako... wish I coud help you but I haven't played the game. I haven't seen Edward around for a bit either otherwise I'm pretty sure he'd have the answer for you.

Have you tried looking at Gamefaqs!

I'm still around. I replied to another thread and told you what I knew, but I'll do it, again. While it's true that you have to kill 66 of the ghosts before you can attack Lucifer, you actually don't have to kill any of them. Just to the left of where you start the level is a little "island" with a rock on it. Just jump over there and hide behind the rock, and the silly ghosts will fall into the lava and die. After 66 of them die, go attack Lucifer. You don't lose any health this way. You might have to go back to the same spot and let another 66 of the ghosts die and then attack, again, but sooner or later Lucifer will die. That's all I know, so I hope it helps. Edward.

Hi... , the red demon is Lucifer, to kill him you must morph into a demon yourself (by killing 66 ghosts). Blast Lucifer while in demon mode. You will have to repeat the kill 66 ghosts/blast Lucifer for about 5 or 6 times before defeating him. PainKiller is one of my fav games. If you haven't already, pick up the expansion pack (BooH) Battle out of Hell, it's very very cool! There are a few bugs in PK, but overall, it's an awesome game!

I'll have to admit that I liked PainKiller, but the expansion drove me crazy with the long load times. I don't use cheats, and I rarely read a walkthrough unless I'm hopelessly stuck for several days, so; when I get to a rough spot and keep dying while trying different things, and it takes two minutes to load, every time, I get frustrated. If it weren't for the long load times, I'd recommend BooH, too. Edward.
