From IGN:

Eidos sent out a quick announcement late today that Thief: Deadly Shadows, the third title in the renowned stealth-action series, will ship for the PC and Xbox on May 26.


This is good news indeed for any fan of the Garret's shadowy adventures, or anyone with a taste for stealth action in general. Hooray for a title that is not only not delayed, but released ahead of expectation.

Thief is one of my all-time favorite PC action game series and I can't wait to see part three.

I'd hardly call Thief an action game. I was so bored hiding in shadows throughout the first game that I didn't even bother finishing. I didn't even try the second one.

Thief 1 & 2 are officially described as a SP PC Action Games.

There is no other major genre in which to put them.
