It was only a few years ago that Korea’s Hyundai was considered a second-tier auto brand, inferior in quality to better-made Japanese and American models.

How does your car stack up?

according to a survey that measured problems in the first 90 days of ownership

.

Still haven't has a single problem with my Mustang GT except for the one and only dealer add-on, a "better" tinted film for the rear window, which developed air pockets and peeled-off due to shoddy installation.

Better yet, unlike my last few (upscale sports / foreign luxury) cars, this one has never been stolen or even broken into. That's why I bought it and I love the lack of worry. It's also very easy to maintain, has a super good AC unit, a great little sound system and runs without a hitch.

Besides, if it was stolen, I really wouldn't care because it didn't cost much in the first place and getting another one would be so quick, easy and cheap.

Cheers, Terry

I have a 94 Buick Skylark. Dull and boring. I didn't think anyone would be interested in stealing my car until I drove up to a convenience store the other day. A man got out of his Buick Skylark and asked me what year mine was. I told him. He said he was looking for parts for his 92 Skylark and parts from 93 and 94 Skylarks would work as well. :scared:

I own two Hondas, a Civic and an Accord. Great cars, built to last and go like stink.

I've had my honda civic for a little over half a year now, It's a 1999, and I haven't had any trouble with it all! It's got around 85k miles on it and is still running like new.
It's very tough too. One Saturday afternoon one of my friends and I were out cruising, we came around the corner, and there was an 18 wheeler/big rig pulling out of a parking lot, so I stop to let him out, but when he gets out, apparently he doesn't see me, so he starts backing up to straighten out. (I wasn't too close, he just didn't look), It was probably the most scared I've ever been seeing that huge trailer come towards my windshield, luckily the bumpers behind his wheel hit my car before the trailer did. It knocked us back a good five feet, and sounded and felt like the entire front end had been smashed in. But, we got out and there was little more than a slight dent in the front bumper, my baby is tough!
Bad side: It was the Budweiser truck that hit us, and we didn't even think to ask for a free beer

Volkswagen is ranked all the way on the bottom. :(: I've got a 13 year old VW Golf, and luckily I've never had any real problems with it.
