hey I'm looking for a game that is not disgustingly gory, has strategy, and can support 16 or more players. any ideas?

It might help if you shared what games you have played lately and really enjoyed. Then we might be better able to recommend something.

Have you heard of Unreal Tournament 2004? It is a little on the gory side though.

You should be able to find something you will like. As Rhooks stated, give us a little hint of what you have played and maybe we can zero in on some good suggestions for you.

How's the gore factor in BF: 1942 and BF: Vietnam and is it adjustable?

( He said he doesn't want too much gore in the game.)

There isn't really any gore in BFV, not that you will notice because of the Punkbuster-induced lag and terrible fps.

For non-gorey I'd reccommend Warcraft3 and its expansion though. Huge community for that.

I was going to suggest WC3 but having quit playing all MP online gaming, I didn't feel qualified to comment on that aspect of it. But all three franchises from Blizzard are obviously wildly popular online. Gotta be a good reason for that...
