I was really mad that EA left the unit population cap so extremely LOW. It's so low by default that it makes expanding really difficult. Cant really attack anything without loosing something as well because I didnt have the army left to defend.

In that link above is a way to increase the cap in the game. Now I have MUCH more epic battles and a whole lot more fun with the game. Best of all... I havent noticed any performance decrease with this, which is quite amazing what this engine can pull off =]

I have set command points for good guys to 1200 and bad guys to 2400 (even by default the mordor and isenguard have twice as much command points because their armies are weaker to ballance out)

Oh yea Dave... your wifey might like this little 5 min edit mod :):

Hey Zedd,... did you have to download that program, and go through all those steps?, or did you just open the INI file and edit that one line?

that would seem easier.

I think it is really silly for them to put a cap on it and then advertise it with pictures of massive armies!

btw, forgot to mention. Make sure you save your original copy of INI.big file if you want to play online hehe unless the other person has same edited file.

From what I have played so far it reminds me of Age of Mythology with some Dawn of War mixed in (that is a good thing for me). Though I have only done one battle so far.
