Civilization IV
The game looks deep. Sid Mayer this time will design the game himself. Apparently he is building it from scratch and it looks really really good! He has taken all the comments from frans and is reworking EVERYTHING. This time the game will feature multiplayer from the beggining... it will feature a fast game where it takes only a few hours to beat or the hardcore match where it can take months (good times from Europa Universalis 2 we had).

I really cant wait for more details =]

Black & White 2
They have large amount of people working on AI of this game. They claim the AI is so good that your pet will learn your ways of playing and will take over duties based on your actions elsehwere while you're not around.

I liked the first black & white. The game was rather different and interesting =]

Age of Empires 3
They have a full page big teaser screenshot or ingame render and saying that in their next issue they'll have an exclusive preview and screenshots of the next game. Judging from the picture, I was right... its the Age of exploration =]

F.E.A.R.
Little preview, that game looks hot =]

Battlefield 2
Some more stuff on the game, if you followed this you probably knew everything said in the preview. I might actually grab this one since I skipped BF:V

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Whats with games having dots in their names? Anyway, this game sounds interesting =]

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
woah! Does this game look beautiful. From the preview, they said the world will be more "life-like". During the week you'll see people working during daytime. On weekends people will be visiting friends and family. One thing that drove me off from Morrowind was the world. This one goes back to the european-medieval style =] This will surely make my system cry in horror.

Act of War
Remember that Act of War thread I had a while ago? PCG has some more good info on it and some exclusive screenies too. Apparently the story for the game was writted by a best-selling author so this should be good. They even had a little segment from his upcomming book which will be released alongside with the game.

A book and a game... I remember about 10 years ago playing a game called Betrayal at Krondor. AWESOME rpg. I also loved the book Krondor: The Betrayal by Raymond E. Feist which is based on the game =]

2005 is shaping up to be a good year for the PC again. I'm especially buffed about Civ 4 :):

I always get STALKER and FEAR confused with each other. Which one is the chernobyl one?

STALKER. FEAR is by Monolith, and looks more anime.

Who's the author for Act of War, Zedd?

RE: Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion

I feel sorry for some of those modders out there who have bitten off way more than they could chew (*cough* (http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/index.php?p=main)) with making massive mods for ES3 when ES4 is getting closer and closer to release.

One of the things that drew me into Morrowind is how original and different the world was. I liked reading all those books about the Dunmer and their beliefs, plus the weird architecture was very cool. I'm still very interested in Oblivion though, as I'm a very big fan of Elder Scrolls lore and I'm curious about what's going to happen next in Tamriel.
