Best Demo Lately?

I'm in one of those moods. Even though I'm playing away at a half dozen games with limited time on my hands, I still have a hankering to try something new on for size. So I am wondering if anyone has DL'd a demo lately that blew away your socks.

I'm currently playing Far Cry, CoD, Gothic 2, NHL 2004, Tiger Woods 2004 and MS Flight Sim 2004. So I am looking for a demo of something other than these games

Speaking of demo's... I DL'd Syberia 2 Terry and you are right. It is beautiful. It's not quite my cup of tea, but my wife loved it. So now I've got the answer, or at least my daughter has the answer, of what to get her for Mothers Day which is just around the corner. :wink:

I've downloaded the Soldner demo twice from 3DGamers and on both occassions - the game fails to work properly. :(

There haven't really been any earth shattering demo's lately, IMO. I did enjoy the Sacred demo and the Warlords Battlecry III demo, but that seems about it.

Painkiller has 2 demos out. This game is fun and easy to play with good graphics.

Not sure if it will blow you away or not but I got a free demo CD of Ghost Master that is quite fun and a very different sort of game. I've also discussed it with a few veteran PC gamers who have the full game and they really enjoyed it. Give it a try.

I've been playing the UT2004 demo all the time. The only reason I haven't bought the game yet is because I don't want to fail all my final exams :p
