It's getting closer. Anyone with any firm plans yet? A visit to Key West, perhaps. The west coast attracts you? Where are my fellow forumites traveling to this summer? Or are you staying at home and enjoying local sites and pleasures?
I'm staying home. There is a lot to do around this part of Florida. Also, I have a number of home projects I'm going to attempt! How about you?

I plan on going to millionmanlan 3 (millionmanlan.com) in KY this summer. Other than that I haven't really made any plans (and even that isnt set in stone).

Nothing yet. My g/f and I are talking about some camping outings, then possibly Vegas in the fall. We're also pretty much in love with San Francisco, that's another possibility.

I am very glad that you mentioned travelling within the United States. It always makes me mad when one of my friends say "I'd like to travel..um...I am gonna travel to Japan! no! Europe!"
There is so much to see in all the states of America. There are so many parks and forests and other natural spectacles. How about travelling by bus or car inside the USA? I think you'll feel like you're visiting another country once you go see other Americans in other states. Want to experience hot climes, go to South California, Florida, Texas, Arizona. Want to experience snow and cold? Go to Alaska or Oregon.

Well, since my fiancee is coming from Japan next Thursday for one month, we'll do a lot of traveling in Florida. We are definitely going to Miami, Key West, St. Augustine, etc.
After that I'm going to Japan in July...........

I'm going to sit on my fat ass and play games for my holidays. Since the wife is being laid off in September, she only get's a few days this year, so the holidays will consist of playing games all day (the days that my daughter is at the sitter's that is), drink all night in the courtyard of my townhouse complex with a few neighbours, recover a little the next day, and start over.
Did the same thing last year and it worked out great.

Nothing planned yet. If I have the time and money I might go to Egypt or Turky, but that's not laid in stone yet.

Next weekend, my wife and I are heading to Puerto Rico for a long weekend with another couple. Drinks by the pool and maybe a little scuba diving.
Then in the fall, we're probably going to hit Napa / Sonoma for a week--maybe hit San Fran for a day or two as well. I'm with you on the San Fran thing Chylde--we've been there once before and had a great time.

Nothing planned. I'm really hoping I can get a job, but I haven't had much time for that lately due to an overload of college homework. Of course, I'll be getting some gaming done at nights (I am unable to play games when it's sunny outside).
