Hey Chylde and Impressario.

I'm going to go looking for that game this weekend. Let you know if I find it here in the US.

If you don't Mara, I'd be more than happy to pick one up and ship it down. We can arrange for payment after you get it. I've "known" you long enough to trust you with that!

Mara, hope you are able to find it. There was something very serene about the first one. I'm working through SplinterCell Pandora on Xbox but Syberia II will be my next purchase.

Thanks, Chylde. I appreciate that. I'm really anxious to get ahold of this game. I really enjoyed the first one.

I bought the first a while ago, but didn't go far with it *I bought 10 games in one shopping spree* I'll re-install today.

Syberia is the very best classic style PC adventure I've played since TLJ and the sequel is firmly atop my current must-buy list. Matter of fact, I was going to grab a copy this weekend or next week when Beyond Divinity is scheduled to be released.

In the meantime, I still have Runaway and a gaggle of CRPGs waiting to be played... now that I have almost caught up on the many PC action games missed over the past few years.

BTW, what other PC games (old or new) are you folks playing these days?

Cheers, Terry

Picked up Freedom Fighters cheap and have been playing it. It's pretty good. Especially for $10.00.

I also enjoyed Syberia very much, and place it in high regard along with TLJ. I have high hopes for Syberia II. Fortunately, sequals to games tend to sell at least as well as the originals in more cases than with movie sequels.

I actually picked up BF1942 and the RtR expansion last week. Haven't played a single second of the game yet. Been too busy with getting these new forums organized. So I'm hoping that this weekend will be my first time.

Maybe I can convince MasterChief or Donjo to hook up with me for some MP action. Teach the young pups with cable access what an old guy on dial-up can do.

I got Syberia II this weekend. I was able to get it at Best Buys. If they didn't have it, I was going to the mall :scared: and try Electronics Boutique. Now when to find the time to play it!

Did you check the EB used racks recently? The ones in my area have lots of copies on the racks. I find that happens alot when a sequel comes out. Many people must trade in the first one and buy the sequel at the same time. I personally don't trade in there but lots do.

I have also seen new, boxed copies of the original Syberia still on the shelves at my local Best Buy and the main Gamestop store here in Houston within the past few weeks. So it is defintiely still in publication / retail distribution. GoGamer.com also still has it listed for online purchase as does Amazon.com.

I wish someone would please go play it and come back here and tell us what it is like! Seems like forever since Mara's been looking for it and now my curiosity on the gameplay, quality and depth of the game is peaked at maximum! :shades:

So what's the verdict? or

If you played and enjoyed the first one, the verdict is:
