Yesterday I cought a glimpse of that british ship. Let me tell ya, its one huge boat. It barely fit under the Verezano bridge  Its like a floating city heh. Anyone seen this on TV or read in articles?

That's cool that you were able to see it in person. I've seen pictures of it where it dwarfed anything else in the frame. Were you near the bridge when you saw it or somewhere else?

I saw a program on TLC about it. It's definitely a very big ship, but I have yet to see it in person. I imagine it's quite the sight, as you say!

Heh, Brooklyn - As kids we used to fish off the Canarsie pier and actually ate the snapper (baby blue's) that we caught. What the hell were we thinking!

I read about it. I bet it was exciting to see. I'd love to have a chance to go aboard her.

.

I've seen the old QM1 "in person" and am at least familiar with the QM2. The new ship is really amazing.

Cunard's official web site for her is also wonderful and very informative.

I got to see it in port on my commute into the city. It is HUGE. It's docked a few piers up from the USS Intrepid and it dwarfs the aircraft carrier.

It was pretty cool. The fire boats were still spraying water (which was supposed to be red and blue, but I couldn't tell).

You wouldn't if you saw the actual price of, "a ride"

Still, it's a ship to make me proud to be a Brit
