I played WoW beta thing before, now I'm playing EQ2 beta. To tell ya the thruth, I'm enjoying EverQuest 2 beta much more. There is so much to do in terms of tradeskills and personalization. Get this, your character can have heritage traits that add bonuses... you aquire them through studying. You can also master your knowledge of up to 6 of your chosen enemies... this includes getting attack bonus and such =]
What really spoiled me now are the voiceovers. Its really awesome haveing NPC's talk to you instead of you just reading. The voices are done superbly =]

I'm not planning to get any of them, seeing how MMORPG's aren't really my thing, but if I had to choose I'd probably go with EQ2. I've played the old EQ for a while and it was extremely addictive. If they manage to pull off the same thing with EQ2, it can't go wrong. That's not considering all the improvements. I really like the Warcraft universe, but I'll stick to the RTS'. I also wouldn't mind a Warcraft single player RPG, if they ever make one.
To be perfectly honest though, I still find Guild Wars more interesting than both of them. It has spectacular graphics both technically and artistically, and in my opinion, its setting is more original (as far as fantasy goes).

I have a friend who is playing the EQII beta and loves it, and he normally only plays first person shooters. But I have also heard a ton of great things about WoW. I might not get either one of them; I tire of mmorpgs quickly.

I've got my Guild Wars Pre-Order Box sitting right here,...I'll be in the Beta Weekend starting on the 29th I believe.
If you happen to pick it up Nova, then maybe I'll see you there.

I'd like to try the beta out but I'll most likely end up waiting for the reviews and the player comments. Too many other games to play :scared2:

I have exactly the same problem. I really like the sounds of what they're doing with EQII, but after my experience with City of Heroes, I learned it's probably in my best interest to stay away from MMOGs. I played CoH like crazy for about six weeks, then got bored out of my mind. I had signed up for the 3 month package, and to be honest, I had completly stopped playing after 2 months.
