If you could be someone else present or past, who would that person be?

Myself 25 years ago.

Kind of on the same vein as Terry's. Myself 10 years ago, so I can tell myself to lay of so much junkfood.

But would you have listened?
I know I wouldn't have.

I'd give myself the go-ahead on the junk food. I'd tell me to buy Microsoft, buy some more Microsoft, and when you get bored, buy more Microsoft.
Then sell it in Dec. 1999. Would that be insider trading?

I would go back about 10 years and put my families life savings in Yahoo stock.

Whoops! I think we're threadjacking!
Hmmm... anyone ELSE, past or present... Ramses II.

And in much the same vein as Terry and Chylde, I would like to be myself on September 29, 1995 to tell myself to listen to my body, don't go out to the bar and sleep off the weird illness I was feeling. That way I would have never become critically ill on October 1, 1995, I wouldn't have been in a coma for three weeks, I wouldn't have the disability I have and I wouldn't have had to have lived in a hospital for 8 months going through gruelling rehab.
I often think about this a lot, what I would be like if I didn't go out, especially since the doctors all but told me going out and abusing my body the way I did likely accelerated the effect my illness had on my body, if not outright cause the damage it did.
But then again life's funny that way. The night I went out to drink my face off, even though I had an (unknown at the time) serious bacterial infection, that was also the very same night I met my future wife. If I didn't go out that night, I likely would not have a physical disability for the rest of my life, but I also wouldn't be with the two most important women in my life right now either, my wife and my daughter.
Actually, now that I think about it and I know the outcomes, I would make the same choice everytime.

Were I to be any being, real or not;
I would be God, rather than rest on the 7th day, I'd try to fix some of the bugs I found in Human 1.0.
If I were limited to tangible people with even tacit documentation of their existence;
It'd have to be either King Ludwig Friedrich Wilhelm (Mad King Ludwig II) just to see if I was really crazy or not.

Ayrton Senna, just to know what it felt like to be that good at racing even if only for a short period of time.

No bugs found. Behavior by design. Faults always a result of failure to operate per instructions.

It's a hardware problem.
I would be some random retired millio/billionaire.

I'd want to be Tom Cruise when he was still married to Nicole Kidman.
