Hey all,
I wanted to know if anyone here could tell me where to go in order to download this game for free. Unfortunately, I have a slow connection(dial-up), but I really want to check this game out. It's old and cannot be purchased ANYwhere. I know, I checked.
Thanks in advance.

You can get it at The Underdogs (http://www.the-underdogs.org/). Just do a search for it, you should find it easily. I believe they took it down for a while due to legal reasons, but they have made it available once again. I recommend you try to find the official patch as well. I don't have a link to it though.
There was a thread providing a link to the game on the GameSpy forums and the mods never closed it, nor even hinted at doing so. I don't think this should get deleted. Everybody should have a chance to play this.
Enjoy the game! It really is one of a kind. Great villains, great plot and above all, GREAT atmosphere. The cutscenes aren't included in the download but you don't really need them to understand what's going on. This game has some of the best writing and voice acting ever. Some of the stuff The Many and SHODAN said gave me shivers

Oops, sorrry about ^that...i was going to say that I thought they took this game off the underdogs but I see that it is in fact back. Do yourself a favour and get the updated texture pack as well. It breathes new life into the game.

The game is publicly available for no cost or "free"ware.

Exactly. Old games are sometimes released for free (freeware) and people can download them.

I just re-downloaded it for another run. The cutscenes are there, in .avi format. They just aren't shown in-game. The DivX 5 codec is required to watch them.
Thought I'd point it out :):
