Pick a tag, PLEASE

One of my biggest gaming pet peeves is clan tags that do not match. Today when I was in our server I saw so many different tags it made my head hurt. :p:

There was

3DGMrN
3DG|_Zedd
[3DG]_Chief
[3DG]Carnage


I say we just pick one and stick to it, whatever it may be. I like the |3DG| tag the most, but that is just me.

Is there not a problem with some games not accepting the " | " symbol ??

As far as I know, all games accept the " [ ] " brackets though.

Just some food for thought.

Not as far as I know gaim, the only symbol I could think of off hand that may do something bad would be the " or the ' because that may be used for kicking in some games.

Halo, for one, doesn't accept the | symbol. And besides, the most clan either use [clan name] or -=clan name=-.
