X-Men: Legends

Has anyone picked this up? It's doing very well on all three consoles, so I was considering picking it up for my Xbox. Has anyone played this one yet? Im interested in hearing your thoughts if you have.

Well if first impressions mean anything, it's a disappointment.

Since my local (and very worthless) Blockbuster didn't have it for rent, I had to plunk down the money for the game. Well after about 2hrs of play, I wish I would have bought Galleon instead. So far it's nothing more than a button mashing bore. Press "a,a,b,a,a....ect....", insert terrible (for the liscense) writing and voice acting, and a not-so-leveling up character interface. Plus the graphics look PS1-ish, the faces have no face! "EEE.....where are my eyes!"

Only bright spot is wandering around Xavier's school.

Ya,..you know I was suspicious of this, and that's why I didn't jump on it right away. I also thought I saw some screens, and the graphics were very bad....you nailed it.....they looked PS1'ish.

Thanks for the heads-up, like I said...I may try this on a rental, with a couple friends....but thats probably going to be it.

Glad I waited, too. I'll check out BB tomorrow to see if I can rent it. Definitely sounds like a "try before you buy" kind of title.
