Thief3 Mission freeze

Hi im playing thief3 and im up to the widow moira mission and i have found the compodium and finished the mission then im back at the keepers place and no one talks to me and i check my objectives and it says to Search around the Keeper Library for clues about the Dark Age.
Now when i started the keepers library mission i finnisehd all the objectives except this one i looked everywhere even through the forbidded library and i found nothing so i went on the do the rest of the missions now i have finnished the ship and morios missions i cannot advanc anyfurther without compleating this task.

I have even tried to go back to an old save at the beggining of the keppers library (just after the video with cattaca) and still i cant find Search around the Keeper Library for clues about the Dark Age.
any help would be great thanks

Ok,...I had this problem too...what happened, is that I missed a "letter" or "Clue" inside the Library.....I found it by riding that elevator up to the second floor, and then going to the big circular room, where you can look over the balcony and see everyone below, and it also has tall bookcases on either side.

Now the letter I missed was over on a pedestal in between the tall bookcases,....now my memory isn't perfect on this, but I believe there are 2 letters or books to read...one on each side of the pedestal...I had to jump up on it, or jump on the chair next to it, in order to get the book/letter on the other side to light up.....anyway, I hope my description isn't too bad.
