UT2004 gaming server now online!

I'd like to mention here that the first of what will be a lot more online games and gaming servers hosted by 3D Gamers and Hypernia.net is now officially open.
We're still tweaking in game details and likely there will be some reboots as config changes are made. But for now we're ready to rock and roll.
The first game up now online for your MP playing pleasure is Unreal Tournament 2004.
We want to avoid a lot of rules and such but I want to mention that we want to keep the language and player names respectable. You may be kicked and/or banned if the language or attitude becomes a problem.
More details on the whole gaming server situation will be forthcoming. I would like to say we do plan on keeping stats, ladders, and yes there is a plan to hold contests with prizes awarded. So time to hone your skills.
For now the UT2K4 server has DM, CTF and Onslaught maps loaded. Voting to change maps is enabled. Sniper rifles are enabled. Config changes in the game will be forthcoming as we get more player feedback on the game.

The IP address is 66.250.220.170.

Great news Mr. N! That happened much quicker than I anticipated. I don't own UT2004 but I'll join in at some future point when another game that I have goes live.

After talking to some folks I think sniper rifles don't work so well in this game so I'm going to try to change it back so that they are removed from the game. As mentioned I'm having a little problem getting config changes to stick, so if they still show up on the map, in time they will be dropped.

We should get some more maps in there, especially the two community bonus packs and the new Editors Choice Edition bonus pack.

I thought I'd pass along another update for those wondering. Sorry about the delay but I am in dialogue with Hypernia.net who hosts the server. I have a ticket open with them and I expect the server to be back up and running soon.
I hope to see the game server back up and running at any time, so hang in there and thanks for your patience.

Hypernia relocated the server and as a result the IP address has changed on the server. Make note of the new IP address:
