Most settlements have an ammo stash somewhere. You just have to find it.

Yes, welcome to our sandbox. Remember, virtually everyone gripes about various things in the game for the first twenty hours, and then everything falls into place and becomes very comfortable.

After almost 300 hours, I can barely remember the beginning. Don't overlook that you can trade weapons with those that the bad guys drop when you kill them. I would also recommend just sticking with the pistol and upgrading it all the way as you collect weapon parts. It does a good job, and later in the game you will get rich and be able to buy anything you want.

Hanging with the Ulars, huh? Heh, heh. I think I liked their faction missions the best, but they're all OK. Have fun, you've got a thousand cool things to discover, and feel free to ask questions. Edward.

I had trouble with ammo early on, too. Don't forget the grapple - you can hook an enemy to something (like a moving vehicle) to take care of them, or at least incapacitate them for a few seconds. That way you can grab their ammo without using your own ;)

On the vehicle side, I'd recommend the Rowlinson helicopter. Fully upgraded it's an extremely useful little bird.

I've been enjoying the 4-wheelers for now. I have grappled some bad guys to vehicles. That's fun. I probably won't have time to play for a couple days.
