Coming soon for all you online frag fans will be official 3D Gamers gaming servers!
Yes my friends you’ll soon be able to play online against your fellow 3D Gamers members on servers hosted by 3D Gamers.
Discussions are still ongoing, but I can give you a few details. The plan will be to have a number of games to choose from and we’re still discussing which games will be chosen. I can tell you Unreal Tournament 2004 will be the first game and will be officially online very soon. Other games will follow and be added in the future. A number of possible scenarios including a rotation of games being selected and/or several games being available at the same time. Depending on the interest level and success there has been discussion of ladders, and even more. :wink:
Stay tuned for an official announcement. You’ll be hearing something in a matter of a few days at the most of the UT2004 server online and ready to go. If you don’t have the game and want to join in, consider this a heads up and time to familiarize yourself with the maps and gameplay.

Great news!...I had some of the best online times ever playing with you guys on COD. Looking forward to this! Great game to start with too.

Now that's cool news!!! Although I don't play MP as often as some of you, I'm looking forward to getting in a frag fest or two once the servers are up.

CoD is definately one of the games in discussion, as is BF1942....but like Mr. N said, we are still working out the details.

It will be fun to be able to just jump in for a few rounds of fighting, without having to get everyone together on a set day.

I'm looking forward to jumping in from time to time as well, though I'm sure I'll get my ass handed to me most of the time. I'm very out of practice on the FPS MP games.

UT2K4 should be fun, I'm in on that one...been honing my skillz against high level bots of late. ;)

I'll do UT2004. I don't have it yet but I'll get it on saturday. As for either CoD or BF1942, I'd go with BF1942 because CoD bores me.

They sure don't mess around huh?

I've been doing a few godlike Last Man Standing's and the bots' aim and dodging is almost perfect. They're still predictable though, I find playing against good human opponents more challenging.

I agree, and your bot teammates stink - I end up doing all the work myself while they run around getting shot. :) But, they're about as smart as bot AI can get right now I guess. But man does it run and look sweet on my 9800 pro.
