Killing Floor (Steam)

I noticed today I had the option to install Killing Floor on Steam, seemingly through some sort of gift?

Anybody else get this? Not really sure where it came from or why I was just able to install it for free.

I'm pretty sure it's just free for the weekend and you also get a small discount from the full version. I didn't bother to download it, is it any good? Looks almost like L4D.

Haven't actually played it yet, seems like you fight hordes of Zombies like L4D with a few differences here and there. I'd be up for trying it over the weekend if anyone else is down, apparently you can have up to 6 players in co-op.

Pretty cool. Much like L4D. But you can't jump into a game in progress.
There's always some lame ass who wants to play by himself after everyone else is dead.

I got a "free for a week" code at PAX today if anyone wants it. I scored a copy of the retail game so hit me up if you want the code and feel like doing some co-op. It lasts from 9/4 - 9/12.
