Nah, at least I won't.
We haven't had an incredibly heated discussion here yet. Before this forum joined up with 3DG, we had a few doozies, usually dealing with politics or war or something like that.
It's actually been pretty tame around here, to be honest.

The gay marriage one comes to my mind as the most intense. Other than the times Terry flipped out.

The large people being charged for two seat debate I think still reigns supreme.

Yes, I still have gaim's post saved. It was like 6000+ words if I recall.

I missed that one. I think large people should be charged two seats. I don't want to be jammed in next to someone whose bulk is rubbing up against me. Their problem, sad as it may be, should not be my problem or discomfort.

I am guess Gary missed that last debate way back in our first migration from Gamespot... Gamer's Oasis. Took a second to remember the place. Wow, what a long journey we really have taken.

Well... seeing as you mentioned it... I agree. And I'm a big fat guy who could easily take two seats, and I'd pay for both. So where does that leave us?

I kind of agree too, and I'm another fat guy. Although all my weight is carried in the front, so I don't "spill" over to the sides.

A little linkage for those who may not have been there to read the original debate (http://p066.ezboard.com/fpcgamersoasisfrm3.showMessage?topicID=1174.topic) .
WARNING: A few posts may contain some adult language.
For the record, I stand by my previous statements and comments. People haven't changed, the planes have. THAT'S why there's a problem. :p:

Holy crap, I've never read this thread even though I was a PCGO member. I know I'm late, but damn Gaim, hats off to you, that's one hell of a post

Man I was such a noob back then :p:
Rafal hasn't changed, MC has matured and "Mike Rotch" spams less :):
On a side note, just so this post wasn't wholly off-topic, THAT was a heated discussion.

That is an interesting thought Donjo. It has been such a long time that people have grown (hopefully) and have changed. I would have to go over all my posts to see if or how I have changed. I started way before the first move from Gamespot. I post a bit more... but still primarily lurk. I believe I am more vocal too about stronger topics. I remember my first 'heated discussion' with Jason Hellman on Gamespot when Anarchy Online was release due to its super horrendous bug infested launch. Other then that, I stayed quiet. It is nice to still be part of an ever growing community even if I still mostly lurk.

Yea I think everybody has changed a bit, the ones I picked out were just because those were people who were supposed to change during those ages. At that time Rafal was still a teenager, MC and I were 13 or 14, "Mike Rotch" was like 11 or something. I definately notice that other people have changed too, and started posting more.
BTW who is Jaladin again? Is he on this board? And what about that Socrates guy?

Hey!!! I remember the 2 seater space on the plane controversy!! Yea... it got pretty heated there. Ahhh, memories, hehe.
I could start a couple heated subjects but.... I better not.
