View Full Version : Happiest Day

Tomorrow is going to be the happiest day for me. My fiancee is coming here from Japan for a month. I'm sooooooooooooo excited about that . It's been four months since we've seen each other. Long distance relationships are very hard to maintain because of the distance, but somehow we managed to stay together this whole time. Very soon we'll be able to stay together without having to worry about the long distance between us since we're moving in together :D:
But in the meantime, I'm really excited about her coming here to visit first. Yeah!!!!! I don't think I'm gonna be able to sleep at all tonight since I'm so excited and so happy.

Yes, please do stay in touch from time to time SK.
May I suggest a laptop with a wireless connection right next to the bed? Even better, one with voice activated text so you can have both hands free at all times. We do after all expect timely, detailed reports as things, uh... progress.
Cheers, Terry

A sterling idea if ever there was one.
But could you also add a wide angle lens with a handy dandy pan and zoom-in feature that users can operate remotely along with a good microphone?
We'll add our own mood music, lighting effects, titles, scoreboard stats, voice-over editiorial narratives and play-by-play color commentary from here.

So who's moving in where? I admit, I've be envious of you if you got to spend some time in Japan...then again, I'm a bit of a romantic when it comes to that, so spending time anywhere other than home is awesome.

Wow, and I thought I was the guttermind here...........voice activated laptop, webcam, ........ :D: Might be a bit too much for the younger audience here, heheheheheh.
Of course I'll keep you updated (in not too much in-depth detail :): )about our travels and future endeavors. I kinda doubt I'll have much time to post during that time though :): I'm sure she'll keep me plenty busy
Thanks for the well wishes and the uhmmmmm suggestions.....

Well, I guess I should finally let the cat out of the bag. To answer your questions about who's moving in with who, we discussed this for a while and I have always wanted to live in an Asian country, so in July, I'm moving to Japan for one year, and teach conversational English. After that we might check out Australia for a while, or come back here. We're both travel nuts and are both adventurous, so we wanted to take a chance and see where we end up. We're both still young enough to do lots of traveling and exploring before we settle down somewhere. Most likely we'll probably be back in the States within 3-5years, but you never know. One thing's for sure, no matter where I'll be, I'll always try to keep in contact with all of you fine folks here.

Woah woah woah. Let's not go too far.
The kangaroo based communication system is pretty advanced, but we still have some outages when it's feeding time...

I see...
sometimes we tend to forget that those giant, acid-spitting arachnids and slithering, razor-fanged serpents we're battling in some dark, ominous dungeon or atop a shimmering, crystal ice palace in a fareway land of elves, goblins, orcs and mythical lore are... you know, not really real.

All right, quick update. She is finally here, and we're very very very happy together. So far we haven't done that much as far as sightseeing is concerned since it's only been a couple of days since she came here and she's still getting used to the 13hr. time difference.
As for me, all I can say is.......need...........sleep. We tend to stay up kinda late, and she wakes up kinda early still, which means I inadvertendly wake up early too. But I'm not complaining since we can wake up next to each other every morning, which is so wonderful after such a long time apart.
This coming week, we're going to go to the nearest Beach (Cocoa Beach), go to a nice Museum, go to Epcot, and just hang out in the city for a while. Towards the end of the week, we'll head down to south Florida, stay in Miami for two days, and then have a wonderful time in the Florida Keys. I'll write more when we get back from our little trip.
