Not that they'd be of much interest here, but ran into my first mother ship tonight in Tir desert and it was a sight to behold, they are huge and invade player cities (also pictured below) when their detected (no less than twice I think every 4 hours or something unless you have a cloaking device enabled).
Your organization has to defend it's city against the aliens that come down in a boarding ship and if you defeat them then you board the ship itself and beat a boss character (gaining you "Alien XP" and loot etc.., among other perks).
Like SWG player cities require a hefty initial price and serious upkeep costs, but most orgs in AO are very large and don't have much of a problem with it using the built-in org tax system (credits are automatically deducted from your bank account).
Well any ways it's all pretty darn cool. My current main is a martial artist on Rimor named "Yrod." He'll be joining up with a particular org in a couple of weeks, or if a better one comes along then of course will hop over to it.
