NBA 2K9 FOR PC

My son just got NBA 2K9 for PC. Running at 1680x1050...8XAA and all in game settings maxed...runs very smooth and he is just loving it :yes:

Game looks great. I am not too into basketball, but it is nice to see some EA Sports games coming back to the PC. And the game does look great, Kevin Garnett actually looks like Kevin Garnett.

It is a great game...and made by 2K games, and not EA Sports.

how's the control? i heard that it's kind complicated on console...

I am not sure, my son has done the playing of the game, so I am not too sure about the controls.

Here are a few more screenshots...I have only played in like a coaches mode myself...it just basically simulates the game by itself as you just watch it...it is pretty impressive in action.

Cool. I quite like the 2K games. Bit more showtime than EA Sports, but it balances it with some tougher foul and refereeing, from what I remember.

Looks like fun!

I messed up on the EA call. I generally like the 2K sports games the best with the exception of MLB series from Sony which is nothing short of fantastic.

Four years later and I am still upset I lost my 2K Football game.

It looks sweet, but I don't see the PC version of this game anywhere on store shelves. I may have to just order it online directly from 2K.

I picked my son's copy up at wal-mart for $20.

Must be my area, then. Although I only checked a couple of Best Buys and Circuit City. I'll try Target on my way home.
