My Collection (http://www.gamespot.com/user/collection.html?user=SaberwulfIII)
I am still missing some games, I only entered what I had in sight and not in storage.
So anyone else have something like this set up? If you do then share it, I'm kind of interested to see what others have in their collection.
Say what you want about Gamespot, this is a cool feature.
Edit: Value of collection today in Canadian dollars: $8,173.57. Hmm, better not show this one to the wife.

Interesting. I may have to get around to that one of these days... It just seems like a lot of work. Maybe I'll sign up and chip away at it for a little while. :)

Yuri started a post like this at GMv. My answer is the same as then. I have computer games going back to 1990 when I first bought a computer. Use your imagination.

I have the original boxes/case for about 80% of my games. You shouldn't feel sorry for me because I have them. You should feel sorry for me when I have to create new and inventive ways of explaining to the wife why I need those boxes.

Yeah, but that post didn't have an alphabetized list, with your total number of games and an approximate value attached to it.
And besides, I have no imagination. Killjoy.
Oh and Chylde, it's not that much work. I did the 166 games in under an hour, and it's kind of fun adding it all up. Besides, now I have something stored online with a value attached should my house ever burn down and I need to show the insurance company something estimating replacement cost.

Very nice Bruenor, that's quite a list...although I don't remember you talking about some of those games. Are there a few on that list that you bought on a whim, and then found out you didn't like them, and therefore only played them for a short time?
I have a few like that, but I ended up trading them in at a Local Gamestop, because I knew that I would never play them. I don't know if I could dig up all the games I own, most of them are packed away in boxes, but I may try this out if I get bored.

It's not a bad list, but MarkN has me beat by 13 games
Yeah, some of those games I bought on a whim, but not too many. Mostly the Baldur's Gate/Fallout/Morrowind games full under the "not my type of game" category, I bought them because of all you guys couldn't shut up about how great they were. But I keep them around for collection purposes.
I have traded in many console games already for others, and I don't talk about them that much anymore here due to a lack of interest. I only talk about the games that I have that someone else brings up, or when I am asked directly (usually by Chylde). All of the console games on that list I have played through, or have gone through a significant portion of.
The RTS games on the list I don't usually talk about because it's not my favorite genre. But every now and then I like them and all of them I have played through that are on that list except for Ground Control II and Perimeter which I have yet to start.
The adventure games were budget games that I picked up to try them out. I went through a couple of them, and they are alright I guess. Again, not my thing really but the wife got into them so I keep them for her.
There are also other games on that list that I got before I became a regular poster or just aren't that popular (like the Warlords RTS and TBS games - my personal favorites) so any discussion that I would start about them would be pretty much pointless.
Also, I have about 600-700 games for various old school systems that I am just not going to list (yet) for my Colecovision, various Atari systems, Intellivision, NES, Sega Master System, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Sega Saturn, N64, Sega Game Gear, Sega Nomad and Neo Geo Pocket. I tried to keep the games listed to pretty much modern games. And no, I don't have the boxes for all those old games.

I think if i did that list id miss an aweful amount of games.. to many to list. I'll have a look and try it out.. going to take a while me thinks.
Edit: I was right, it does take a while.. here's My Games Collection (http://www.gamespot.com/user/collection.html?user=Rattlesnake_8)
It's not complete, but it takes ages to list all the games, and they don't have ALL the games in their lists.
Number of Games 143
Estimated Collection Value $5257.58
Preferred Platform PC... well all my games are PC Games!
I'll add more later when i get more time.

I'd probably forget a lot as well and I have a bunch of games that aren't on GS (PC-Engine, SNES and NES). You guys have some nice collections though, a lot more games than I have :):

Decided to be a sport and play along.
Game list (http://www.gamespot.com/user/collection.html)
Their info is very incomplete. I only buy PC games so the other platforms listed on older games like C64 is inaccurate. It was available on PC. Also, I bought over half of my games in the 1990 - 1998 time frame. back then I would buy 20 - 30 games a year. I don't buy any where near that number now. I have all of my floppy based games transferred to CD and about 40 of those are not in their database. ( What's up with Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe and the original Red Baron not being in their database? They were both very popular games.)

Although they don't have any Mega Drive games listed and your right RHooks, their C64 game list is limited. Ive listed my PC and Game Gear games. (They have Gamegear games but no megadrive? go figure). And they don't have a lot of older games listed.
I can't remember the names of some of the older games. I just remembered Captain Comic. What else? Blake Stone isn't listed.. bah. And some of the games i used to play on my mums old 286 when i was a kid isn't listed.. well, i didn't expected they would be. I still remember playing 'Maxit' with my mum when i was young. And this train game. I'd check to see if they have any games listed for my old Tandy, but i don't remember what games i have (although i still have them somewhere) cause i was to young then.
Edit: Also, for its good to go through other peoples lists and read through. You can see what games in their list you already have, and if you find a game you have that isn't on your list. Then you add it. Good way to make your list more accurrate and remember some of those games you've forgotton over the years. Id just remembered Captain Comic.. and ET's Rugby Leage, which isn't listed. Maybe cause it was an old Australian game? :(:

Sure they "Megadrive" games R8, you just have to remember that Gamespot is an American site and the Megadrive was known as the Sega Genesis here.
To help you out, here's a list of the Genesis games they have (they may be limited to games that were released in NA only though).
http://www.gamespot.com/genesis/
Edit: While were at it, this Commodore 64 list is absolutely huge at Gamespot (what were you guys looking at?).
Every game that I had or have is on this list, although it likely isn't complete.

Whoa! The Megadrive was known as the Sega Genesis? OMG! LMAO Here i am thinking the Genesis was a whole other system that was never released here. Geese. I think i need someone to slap some sense into me.

That's ok. If I sell or trade off a lot of my games then you'll definitely have a lot more than me. BTW, the other day I also added the BF 1942 Deluxe Edition to my collection.

I still don't have a number of newly released games, Farcry and Doom3 are two of them. So when i finally get around to picking up the newly released hits, my list will grow a few more.
