Not so sure about this one, does that mean $150 for the story arc? That is a bit excessive. On the other hand, I have never played through the story in Starcraft 1, despite years of playing LAN and battle.net games.

the real question is...do we need to buy three games to play all the races in multiplayer...

If they assume the 20-30 dollar price point, this is a great idea. However, I would expect them to be about $40, seeing how Blizzard is the only company who charges $40 for expansion packs that I know of.
