Battlefield Vietnam!

Anyone play? Great game...not worthy of the name "sequel" in my opinion, but it's fun enough to warrant a purchase from fans of the previous game. I've been a junkie since day once back with BF1942, and I still don't know everything there is to know about either game. Easy to pickup, hard to master, etc...

It does kind of annoy me that it's taken DICE such a long time to get a patch together...especially considering that there were so many issues having to do with graphical glitches. If I hadn't figured out that I needed to update my drivers to remedy the problem I probably wouldn't be playing right now =/

I haven't gotten it yet, but I think I might. There are a few other games on the list first. Like painkiller and splinter cell:PT . Plus I want to finish farcry.

I got BF: Vietnam, Splinter Cell: PT, UT2004, and Far Cry and all I've been playing is baseball games on my consoles. I have a huge backlog.

Yea, the whole patch issue is REALLY annoying. I have to turn off AA and AF every single time I want to play. Also the graphics engine itslef is f'ed up. It doesn't draw grass at long ranges, so anyone hiding in grass that is far away from you is clearly visible.

thats kinda dumb. im amazed that a game this popular hasn't fixed a thing like that yet. to me it would have seemed to have been fixed when BF1942 first came out.

BF1942 had its share of issues when it first came out too, but it didn't take them nearly this long to come out with a patch.
