I have always liked simulation games, a while back I got into Simcity 2000 and Transport Tycoon. Simcity has come out with alot of sequels, but I always wished TT would. Now it has, the creator of TT is currently working onait sequel, called Locomotion.

I've just played the DEMO version and I want to say that it's same old Transport Tycoon with some fresh graphics and interface. It'll be a great game for sure. The only problem with demo that it is time-limited. Anyone knows how to avoid that? I'll try to seek in configuration files.

good point, the game is comming out tomorrow.

I got one question though, did Chris Sawyer develop this game by himself? It some early interview on GameSpot, he said he was working on this on his own free time while doing other projects. =]

I'm not quite sure but having played demo for a while and felt that TT spirit makes me believe that Chris obviously did the game by himself. The only strange thing that Chris hasn't updated his homepage for a while, but some say he's too busy for that. Let's hope so :)

The only bug I've recently found is some problems with the ships pathfinding, it couldn't get out of the docks :) I hope it's just demo problem and nothing more.

I noticed that the demo was timelimited as well. just when i got one bus system up and running it stopped. so i just went ahead and bought the game. havn't installed yet...but will report back on when i do. so far i liked what i did experience in the demo though.

I got Locomotion last night. I will give a more indepth review when I have had a chance to play it more. So far, it is big fun! Was wondering if anyone knows of any fan sites or forums about this game up yet? I know it just came out, but if anyone hears of a good site, please let me know.

OK. so far so good. Got my first bus system up and running in my town...its pretty interesting. this is a lot more challenging tho than RCT2. at least in terms of making things work - i would think that parents would want their kids to play this game for sure. too bad they did't have it when i was younger.

yeah. my first level i sucked at and went broke fast..but once you give it some patience..and play it through..it def gets easier..biggest money maker is the trains to transport coal. do that and you are golden
