No one to play with! :(

Why can't my girlfriend nor most others, join any of my games? The other night, we tried getting an old fashioned game of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction game on the Open Battlenet, US West multiplayer. No one could join my game. As it were, I could not join theirs either. Is there something I must disable in my security/firewall protection in order to let friends in and play? We all have the game, the latest patch, and used to be able to play together online quite regularly---even TC/PIP.

The weird thing is, I could join other games on the open server. Yet, when I tried to create a game with no password(so that ANYone could enter, not just friends), NO one came.

You should make sure you open and/or forward ports 4000 and 6112 - 6119 on your firewall/router/gateway computer.

This hella sucks! I go online the other night to play with some of my old characters and see if I can join a game on open Battle.net. I enter a game with a very high level character to drop off some mid-level stuff to other players. Before I try, though, this other player drops a whole bunch of charms on the floor. I pick one up to look, and I lag. Next thing, other players lag. So, I drop out and try to go in another game with the same character, and it won't finish loading the game when I use her. In short, even in single-player, I can't open this character. I think that punk-bitch dropped a bunch of bugged charms. Is there ANY way to remedy this? Will System Restore do anything? :doa:
