I am alittle over 2 hours into this game. Edward is right.....there is some good shooter fun here!

I have made whiskey bombs....killed lots of injuns with my quick draw and even blew a few injuns heads off with my shot gun  I am on my way to hunt down a preacher man!

The voice acting is really good in this game, the voice of Jenny seems so familiar for some reason.

It took me awhile, but I can just flat out fly on a horse now....and it is much fun.

I love the quickdraw mode where everything slows down, that is a great touch. Even with quickdraw those darn injuns set me on fire at times with those flaming arrows!

I also like the way the game uses the cutscenes...they flow great with the game play.

The game, for the most part has some pretty good save points, even though there is no quick save, you still can just make a regular save anytime you want.

The graphics are just so so in the game, but the fun factor is so good that the graphics really do not matter.

I do wish however that the game supported widescreen resolutions, because my widescreen monitor's native resolution is 1680 x 1050 and the game only goes up to 1280 x1024 and that is not a widescreen resolution. So the game is not very pretty on my monitor, but still it is not that bad either. There really is not much in the way of video settings.

Here are a couple of screenshots........Oh...and Edward....I had a great time with Jenny in the hotel....when I left i flipped here a few coins and told her to keep the change :D:

Let me know if you ever get that White Wolf. (Or whatever the hell it was called.) That was the only side quest I didn't complete. It's been a long time since I played the game, and I may not have had a widescreen monitor at that time, so I didn't remember that graphics glitch. I just know I had a good time with the game and was impressed at how well everything worked towards a smooth shooter experience. For sure, it was the best horse-riding interface that I've ever come across, and I, too, had a blast galloping around the countryside.

Take your time and have fun with it. I'm about an hour into TimeShift, and, so far, it's plenty OK. I guess the graphics aren't cutting edge, but they are a lot better than the last two games I played, so it looks pretty good to me. Lots of action, too, and all the basics seem right. And it's got a quicksave. Woo Hoo! I don't have the time shifting business down, yet, but they are giving me hints as I go. I think I'll have decent fun with the game, so I'm happy, so far. Edward.

I am now pretty far into this game. This is a real nice shooter!

I like the upgrades of weapons that you get as the game moves on and as you complete side quest.

The quickdraw feature is just a blast as I can now take out lots of enemies with my pistols in a very short time...heck I am loving the pistol even not using the quickdraw feature...the quickdraw slows everything down and you have extra time to gun down enemies.

I think it is really cool how they use the cutscenes and the gameplay together and it just flows so nice...I am really impressed with this as it really seems like you could just be watching an old western movie or tv show....it really does.

The story is very good. The game just gets better the farther along you go.

I reckin' I better saddle up and get back to Dodge City.

Well, I have finished Gun and I would call it a pretty darn good shooter.
It was alot of fun and the high points were the Story line....voice acting....use of cutscenes in the story were top-notch!....the quickdraw feature was also very good.....Riding the horses was a blast. Side quest were a nice touch.

The low points were....no quicksave....no widescreen support.....not many graphic options at all, really......some of the so called boss battles or battles with your final enemy of a level were alittle frustrating.....so enemies took like 50 shot gun blast to kill!! Could have been a bit more polished up, so to speak.

Overall I would call it a pretty good shooter, and the western theme was nice....like I said you felt like you were watching a western on tv.

PS....I never did get that white wolf side quest complete Edward....though I heard they stayed close to the water.

Here are my final screenshots

It's a pretty good game, I liked it a lot when I played it a few years back, looks very dated now though...
