Half Life 2 preloading to everyone on Steam

Yup, here's the official word that Valve just sent out:
Half-Life 2 pre-loading begins to Steam account holders today. Over the coming days, those who have selected the pre-loading option will have encrypted Half-Life 2 files delivered to their PC. No purchase is required to pre-load HL2, but is required to activate the game. Purchase options will be released soon. Then, the moment the game is made available, those who have pre-loaded and purchased Half-Life 2 via Steam will be authenticated and ready to start playing. CURSES! I went to watch TV so I went off my computer at 10 last night so I had to get it this morning and I was going to post it but I was beaten...

btw the servers are to busy to preload me.

hehe... it cometh! I'm going to wait a few days for the preload, until the servers calm down. This is a good sign, though!

well I tried every once in a while while playing WC3 and I'm 62% done, at 900 kb/s which is faster than I've gone in... ever.

Yea when I was downloading CS from there when I was setting it up on another computer it claimed I was getting 1.5mb/s but it didn't seem to be going that fast in reality. I think their speed thing is wrong.
