This article (http://www.informationweek.com/story/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=28700158) from Fred Langa has details on how to enable a USB device for booting a pc. It would be pretty cool to have a flash pen device which you can carry in your pocket with all of your software tools loaded on it. It will boot a lot faster as well.
