Hey guys, there is a mod for the demo now that you can play as Romans in the Battle of Trebia. There are two scripted bugs with the mod that will cause your army to do something stupid like move up, Just halt the order and you're back in business.

Just remember if you install the mod, you wont be able to play as carthage unless you reinstall the demo or backup the files

Incredible game. I was amazed as I played the demo. The units look ten times better than they do in Medieval: TW. I can see myself playing the full game for years. Rome:TW just moved up as my most anticipated game and my early favorite for GOTY.

I've played the demo a few times, trying different strategies. The battle is kind of easy but I read the Carthaginians' stats were boosted so anyone could win. It's a demo, after all. The elephants are a bit too powerful but I think they're getting nerfed.

I like pretty much everything about it, controls, sound effects, music, graphics, gameplay, etc. I'm getting this game as soon as it comes out, I can't wait to play the campaign mode and try the other factions. I've been dying to get an RTS like this for a long time.

I really liked the demo, it was a little bit too short. I think they kind of skimped on it, it was like a short teaser just to keep people interested before the real game came out. Whatever, still worth the download.
