Glory of the Roman Empire from Haemimont Games shipped in summer 2006 and was without doubt a challenging city building title that any strategy nut would enjoy. However it did perhaps lack a bit of real depth and its military options were limited at best. Fast forward eighteen months or so and Haemimont are back with Imperium Romanum which is essentially a sequel. Some sequels attempt to change the formula in order to bring in news fans and some prefer to improve the previous game incrementally; Imperium Romanum definitely falls into the latter category.

Wonder how big of an appeal the game will have as it only has skirmish scenarios and no campaign. Might have to give this a try sometime. Or I'll just stick with Caesar IV hehe

Hy!

I'm having little problems with game's cheats. They don't work. It says i should insert them while playing, but some of the cheats letters located on keyboard, have also other shortcuts for the game, so nothing works.

Could someone please help me with this issue? I like this game very much, it is awesome, but i came to the level where i need to defend my city, and i need a good start - cheat help. ^^

Many thanks!

That is a good point indeed, but not all are from so different time zone...

And while you are here, could you help me? Itryed all possible things, but tell me one thing: when i bought the game, i went and i updated it with latest patch. Now i'm able to play without a DVD, which was before not possible (copy protection) could this patch be a reason?
