Hey!

I need help finding some games. I'm looking for some games to buy, but i don't know any titles. So if you have any good games, please post tips here:)

I'm looking for games that involves; Samurai, ninja, kung fu/martial arts, mafia, archer (like legolas in LOTR) organized crime, fighting etc. And RPG games, preferably with an middelage storyline, where the main character fights with sword etc... And games that include ALOT of weapons.

First of all :welcome: to our forums!

What are your system specs?

Those would help in giving you the more recent games to play.

I'll start out by saying Oblivion for one(rpg)
Fear(fps)
Half-life & Half-life(orange box)(fps)

These will all play on systems 2-3 years old

I have a good computer:) don't wory about that;)

Cabinett: NZXT Lexa
Powersupply: Gigabyte Odin 800W
Motherboard: Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI
CPU: Intel pentium 4 cpu 2,8GHZ 2,79GHZ
RAM: Corsair TWIN2X 6400C4 DDR2, 2048MB CL4, Kit w/two 1GB Dimm's, E.P.P Technology + 1gb )don't remember the name...
Grapihc card: XFX GeForce 8800GTS 320MB
Sound Card: Fatal1ty Sound Blaster X-FI XtremeGamer Professional Series
Keyboard/mouse: Fatal1ty Gaming Keyboard/mouse
OS: XP Professional, soon vista...

and yes i know vista sucks, but it lets me use double cpu so i can get almost 6 ghz... so its worth it;)

But i am looking for games with an older storyline, like mafia games... I don't like modern weapons that good =/

And thanks for the tips:)

If you want a Mafia game then I Highly suggest.....Mafia :p.

It's a few years old but it's about the best game with a Mafia storyline and such.

There's a new one being developed as well so you can look forward to it.

If you like playing the good side too, I would recommend SWAT4. It has plenty of weapons available, and is great fun. You can also play online which is always a bonus! I would also recommend The Witcher if you are into RPG's, that game is very good.

Cheers,

Stuart

and yes i know vista sucks, but it lets me use double cpu so i can get almost 6 ghz... so its worth it;) For the record, XP recognizes dual and quad core, as well as Hyper Transit (AMD) and Hyper Threading (Intel) just fine. Regardless how many cores you have, you are not running at almost 6GHz. You are still running at 2.7GHz. What the second core does is split the load with other programs already running, so you get more of your 2.7 GHz for the game. Games and programs specifically optimized for multicore processors will utilize both cores for gaming, though you are still not hitting above 2.7Ghz, there is a nice performance boost.
