first timer here does anyone know of a pc game that is a first person shooter with different weapons wich includes standard pistol, rifle, rocket launcher, etc and also has wepns like plasma rifle and electric lancher and mini guns?? I think its set in modern times in europe feel to it. its the basic make ur way from 1 end of the game to the other using all of ur weapons. I remember some scenes like making my way up hill evading dune buggies to get to a tunnel all the while keeping clear of " bad guys" here and there.another scene is me trying to get through a narrow european street while taking out snipers. at the end i think i have to take out choppers with a mini gun in a certain amount of time . please help.i liked the game

Welcome to 3D Gamers!
Lots of choices.. all you need do is browse Google for the FPS genre. There are many older games which may be of interest... Delta Force, Doom 3 and Quake 4, plus Blackhawk Down, Morrowind and others. Halo and Half-Life series are great, also. Lots more names.
Why not browse the reviews on our Forum? Look for trailers and demos to see if the game is what you want.
Just ensure your system is well above the "minimal" requirements for an enjoyable playing experience.
Your system should have a good processor with at least a 2.8 GHz speed, at least 2 Gb of system memory, and a good video card with no less than 256 Mb of its own memory. A PSU should have more than 500 watts of power output.

Looks like I did mention a few game names.. but there are loads others. Delta Force, Doom 3 and Quake 4, plus Blackhawk Down, Morrowind and others. Halo and Half-Life series are great, also. Lots more names.Whatever suits a person's interest!
The Duke Nukem' Manhattan Project game isn't a FPS platform, but has good detail and story line.. plus lots of nice weapons to play with.
Best advice to any gamer.. check the demos and trailers before purchase.
