The demo is out to one of my favorite RPG's so far since Krondor: The Betrayal :):
The demo includes the prologue and the entire first act. So this is easy 6+ hours of gameplay in just a DEMO :):
Also, for the retail version, patch 1.2 is being finalized which supposedly fixes the long load time issues and the save games saving times. Also I think they're adding new content to the game as well.

Good Lord! Krondor: The Betrayal!
That takes me back! Haven't thought of that game in forever.
I've had The Witcher for a few weeks, but it's waiting its turn behind a ton of other games that's come out in the past 2 months! Sucks to be a PC gamer these days.

Yea, Krondor was awesome. I love Raymond E. Feist books on his Midkemia world. So considering how long long long ago that game was released, it was one of the best RPG's ever I think. I honestly think it rivals BG series quite easily. Tons of dungeons to do, free roaming, awesome story hehe. Combat required quite a bit of thought process :):
But anyway, The Witcher has sold over 1 mil copies already: http://www.n4g.com/News-81964.aspx
This is big news! It bodes well for more indy studios to release games and take chances provided you have a great game with good story and gameplay mechanics.
