From Gamershell:

According to an update from the official website, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, previously scheduled for a September release, has been delayed to November in order to add new features and an extra coat of polish to the game. Electronic Arts also announced that, for the first time in the history of the series, players will be able to control their squad in the heat of battle, enjoying greater tactical maneuvering through a new feature called Combat Squad Control.

* I.E..... "We saw the squad control in Brothers in Arms,..and we want to copy that, and release our game first."

Hey, that's ok....I'm looking forward to both games, I just think that's kind of a slimy move.

I wonder if the delay has been decided on because of the indirect competition for sales with Doom 3 and possibly, Half Life 2. EA Games should also embark on strong pre-Gold release of MOH:PA hype! It's better to advertise NOW to really get the sales momentum rising. Just my humble opinion.......

I don't know what engine it is. If it was still quake 3 it looks (http://www.3dgamers.com/screenshots/games/medalofhonor2/) pretty damn good

No, they're using a new, in-house developped engine, IIRC.

Good. Q3 is too old. And no bullet penetration or proper 'city' maps, it is still lots of corridors, just with fancy walls...
