Hey,
I was just wondering that for all the people on the Forums that have played Doom 3 on their comps... what are your system specs and what were you all running the game on (High, Low, etc.)
Thanks,
Uber

Adjusting the AA and AF lower on your vid card will supposedly give a significant performance increase over maxed AA and AF.

Oh God, I played with so many settings yesterday I can't remember everything.
The two best settings on my system are 1024x768, high details, no AA or AF (there is some chopiness at certain points on this setting, but so little that it doesn't bother me at all).
AND
800x600, High Details and I believe 2XAA and 8XAF (or was that 4XAF).
My specs that matter are Athlon XP 2800+, GeForce 5900XT 128MB, 1 Gig Kingston PC3200 DDR.
I'm actually leaning more towards the 800x600 res. Normally I couldn't give a damn about AA or AF in a fast paced FPS like UT, but this game has a much slower pace than I am used to so noticing those jaggies is a lot easier to do (and more annoying too).

Specs in sig. Low settings at 800x600. I have played it at medium a bit and it seems pretty good there, too.

Oooh that new beta patch for the ATI 4.9 drivers made things a lot smoother. :):

P4 2.8, 1 Gig DDR, Radeon 9800np (I'll patch it up to 4.9)
I've yet to play it. It sits at home, taunting me.

Athlon XP 2000

Playing on "High" settings @ 1280 x 1024
I updated the graphics drivers using the July 27th drivers, and this improved performance, and took away 95% of choppiness.
I tried playing with same Res. on "Ultra" settings, and while I could play and move around fine, the game would pause every time I came up to a door, that opened into another room.

Pentium 4 2.4 gtz
512 mb ram
geforce 4 ti 4200 64 mb
Im running at 800*600 on low quality and single player has some chop. Multiplayer is really choppy though. I need a better video card.

runs smooth at 800x600 with "high" setting and 4x aa, I should mention I overclocked the card slightly.
