Welcome to the new 3D Gamers Community Forums. We've tried to make it similar in appearance to the old board - okay, it turned out slightly more blue :wink: - but otherwise it's a whole new place, so we'd like to invite you to check in at the front desk, and explore your new surroundings. Please also take a look at the guidelines in the Announcements forum.

I'd like to thank John, Gaim Mastr and Mr.Natural for their efforts in beating this vBulletin board into shape, and hope you will enjoy the features it offers, and discussions it will harbor.

We all have the great fortune of being amongst the first members of the new 3DG forums !! :cheer:

We will have the great pleasure of seeing this gaming community grow into one of the greatest places to be on the Internet. :yes:

Some of you may be familiar with all of the features & settings of this vBulletin message board software. Some of you may not. Anyone with any questions should freely ask away. We'll do our best to answer anything you can come up with. Well...... except for questions about why we call flies "flies", but we don't call fish "swims", and why the word "big" is smaller than the word "little", and so on and so forth.

By now you've noticed some of our smilies. :p: Putting them into posts is quite easy. When you create a new post you'll see a selection on the right side. Simply click on the image and the smilie code will be automatically inserted into your post. For example, whenever I post a joke on the forums, you will feel an uncontrollable urge to respond with lots of these...

At this time I'd like to invite our new members to take a look at the various forums we have within our message board. Please try to post your topics into the most appropriate forum. As staff members, we're all incredibly lazy and dread having to take the massive amounts of time & energy to move your topics for you.

LOL why does John sleep so much for anyway? :p: Not more or less than anyone else at 3D Gamers (that is, very little :sleep: ) but he's a nightowl so he hits the sack early in the morning (CDT) and wakes up in the afternoon. So that's when the new board got launched.
I'm a nightowl too but being in the Netherlands, it actually looks like I'm awake most of the US daytime. :):

I would like to publicly thank the 3D Gamers ownership and staff for giving us this opportunity. For the record my involvement was moreso in a support role. It was Gaim Mastr who spent countless hours getting the forums ready. I helped out with a few details. John is "the man" when it comes to seeing that the servers and everything are up and running. We're in good hands gang. John is excellent at managing all that involves sysadmin duties and I'm very impressed with his knowledge. I also greatly appreciate the fact that 3D Gamers is going all out supporting this new community. We're on a nice new extremely powerful server thanks to them.
Thanks "Kapi", Frans, John and the rest for your faith and support. Thanks to Gaim Mastr for his energy, time, and vision. And thanks to all of you members. You're all the best a forum community can offer. No doubt in my mind we will be the best darn gaming community out there!
