Hi! I want to play Redneck rampage on my computer, but I can't get it to work. I got a Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz, 1 Gb RAM, Windows XP home, built in Soundmax and a soundblaster 16 that bought used, and a ATI radeon 9800.
I read something about a patch and I tried that, but it didn't work.
Please help.

Redneck Rampage is quite outdated... so they stop realeasing Patches for certian games that are cast aside as thier time exspires...this isssue is mainly because I am sure you have close to if not the latest drivers for DirectX so the game does not recognize the files neccassary to run the game. Also your graphics hardware is yet again another factor preventing the game from running. If anyone disagrees...or maybe has a way around it without him rolling back all of his display hardware Do tell.

That pretty much sums it up. The game was released on 04/30/1997 so I doubt it will play on an XP system without some work arounds, if even at all.
