Okay, so I've purchased and downloaded some games through Steam. Well, I just built a new computer. Is there a way to access the games through Steam that you've already purchased and re-download them? I can't seem to find it if you can.

I haven't used Steam or any other online service to purchase games, but this is a question I would definitely like to know the answer to, as well. I build a new computer every year or two. Am I screwed out of my games if I download them?

Just log into your steam account and redownload the games. You dont have to purchase anything. Open Steam, go to My Games, where it says "NOT INSTALLED" there should be a list of all the games you've purchased. Just click on them and they'll download and install.

Once you log into your account you should see a list of "Not installed Games" on the MY GAMES tab which are games you purchased but don't have installed. If you double click any of those you can start the install process for the games you already purchased.

For future, if you don't want to download them, you can back them up to CD through STEAM, as well.

There is no "Not Installed" list. It just says "You currently have not yet added any games.." blah blah.

Nevermind. I'm an idiot.

Apparently, I have 2 Steam accounts.

Yep, that's the beauty of Steam. Anything that you buy is tied to your account, not your computer or any of that jibba jab, just login to the account you have the games tied to and you can d/l them on whichever computer you want.
