When you play (or played) Starcraft, which race did you choose?

I usually went Protoss, then Terran. Zerg was a very distant 3rd.

Protoss never really got me to be honest. I was Zerg, then Terran.

My roomate and I would play 2vs2 on Bnet all the time. He would play Terran, and it was his job to make a strong defense for both of us, I would play Protoss and would build a strong army to win the game. It was a very effective one two punch.

Afterwards, I was simply so used to playing Protoss that it is hard to vear away from it.

I was never very good at the zerg rush unless it was on a small board. And if they were able to resist my first wave or two, then I was never able to regroup and win.

I think I am going to play some Starcraft this weekend.

Exactly the same order as you Rob, ive always been a fan of technology and weapons over biological and brute force. The more advanced the better as far as im concerned.

But when StarCraft came out i played Terran, Zerg, then Protoss for the single campaign, simply because the game recommended you did the campaigns in that order. The Zerg campaign was always my least favorite though.

I alway played as Terran, their strategies made most since to me. but then again, I was never a good player on Bnet

I was never good solo on Bnet. And I admit my roommate was a much better player then I am, which is why it was his job to defend while I built up my armies.

As to Robs question I was always Protoss, then Terran, and finally Zerg. I just loved how the Protoss would build things and I wouldn't have to waste a Probe sitting there building it or sacrifice like the Zerg had to. I never played the normal maps though. I like things being faster paced, so I always ended up playing either the 'Faster ever' maps or custom maps
