Fall TV Season

I didn't realize how much TV I actually watch until I had to go a whole summer watching reruns with nothing to look forward to but a 30 minute episode of Entourage each week. So I figured I'd start a thread where people can post when their favorite shows are starting up again and where to catch them.

That's about it for me, all my other favorites are cancelled, finalized or already begun their new season.

Prison Break is the only one earning a slot on the TiVO this year. If they ever get around to the next season of 24, I'll be looking forward to that too.

I like House and the CSI's as well but don't worry about getting them every week.

Ever since seasons of DVD really took off and the prices have finally come down, I rarely watch anything on TV, save for football. My wife and I do like House and Scrubs, though this will be Scrubs last season.

That's how I originally got into 24. We watched the first 3 seasons from DVDs, but now that I'm all caught up, I couldn't wait for a year for each season to come out on DVD.

Yeah, DVDs kinda screwed up TV for me, especially that I don't get a good reception for local channels (ABC, CBS, NBC...)

Lost, Scrubs, and House. everything else I watch if I see it on TV

It's American style football for me.

Maybe the World Series too - depending on which teams get there this year.

Not sure when the final season of Battlestar Galactica debuts on the Sci-Fi Channel but I will definitely check it out too.

The current season of Doctor Who will be over in this neck of the woods by the fall though, so it doesn't count. Not sure about the upcoming Southpark schedule - but it's still pretty funny most of the time.

Otherwise, my TV mainstays are Masterpiece Theater, various other sports, classic films, the better first-run movies on premium cable / pay-per-view and the news.
