I was pretty bored by this year's E3. So much of it was just fresh trailers of stuff we already saw. Personally, I was most impressed with the Nintendo offerings. I haven't played my Wii for almost 6 months up until now and they not only piqued my interest with new titles but I found myself playing my old Wii games on three separate occasions this week.

But to answer the question, I don't think anybody did any show stealing this year. They all hit me on an even level and I wouldn't write it off as a joke either.

Sony was probably the most successful, and closest to stealing it in terms of the low expectations and disappointment they'd been exhibiting over the past year.

But overall, everyone was pretty equal, I'd say.

I wouldn't call it a joke - far from it, I actually liked what came out of E3 07, more than E3 06, which I felt was overhyped and really underperformed - very little 'grabbed' me last year. A lot of the games have come together for this E3, and are really looking 'next-gen', giving the next year a (to me) rosier outlook than last year.

The show was a joke. When you have a biggest entertainment expo show in the world where media just goes crazy about, you cannot just change something and hope everything works out. Pretty much everyone in the game industry is speaking out against this new format. So unless something changes, there wont be much of a show next year.

Yeah, E3 sucked this year, it was horrible. (Which is in rather stark contrast to the previous couple of E3's, which everybody remembers as some of the best ever.)

Anyways, yeah, Sony made the best showing, but that isn't saying much.

Nintendo was all like "**** you, hardcore gamers!" while Microsoft was off only talking about stuff everybody already knew.

Sony at least had some surprises and a refreshing attitude shift.
