Farcry Save games

Can someone help me? Stup me installed patch1.2 and all went to ok pot
before hand I backed up my saved games folder :) After using the patch the game would not work so I choose to repair the installation but when I copy my saved games back to the folder they are not there when I go to play. :(:
Is there a way to fix this?

You might have to uninstall (delete the folder too) and re-install. Then patch to v1.1 then put the save games back in the folder.
