This is my favourite racing game of all time. indeed it is probably everyones favourite (except the weirdo's who actually believe that NFS is better). What is most unusual is that i NEVER play playstation, yet i can't wait to get this game and dedicate hours to it??? this is not unusual for a lot of PC gamers, this game is just to good to resist. yet they refuse to port it onto any other platform? they could sell 3 to 4 times the amount they are making on the game now. i can understand sony wanting to keep this game on playstation, but this is probably one of the biggest monsters just waiting to be unleashed from what is now a really small and aging PS2. :mad:

I want everyone here to agree that gran turismo would just be perfect at 1600x1200 with gigantic cities and realtime lighting/shadows, and bump-mapping and detailed reflection and... im going to go and dream about it. :(:

It does look good, it sucks that it is on PS2 though. I was kinda hoping for xbox or PC, but of course they aren't going to change their console just for better graphics. I can't wait but I have other things on my list of priorities.

Exactly, everyone wants the game on PC. We are talking about THE best racing game of all time. Deos everyone have to buy a PS2 to play it? We should start an international petition! I'm not kidding by the way...

Sony owns the rights to Gran Turismo, and I believe they even own the the developer. In other words, Sony likes their property own their game system, so don't hold your breath.

I know. I realise this. It's the very thing that pissess me off. Sometimes people should just look at how much money they could earn by broadening their horizons. SONY own Gran Turismo, so? they ca still sell it for PC and own it, and make money. I hate it! It's just like Every other game, nintendo, Xbox, they all have their "ONly on Xbox" or "Only on PS2" stiockers. I have to buy every single console don't i?

You answered your own question really. :)

They make more money by having an exclusive game that sells consoles, and in turn you'll probably end up buying a few more games for that console once you have it...so continues the circle of business life.
